Hello List,

I have just updated my phone to an Ericsson t39 and I am now thinking of getting the MCA 10 View camera to go with the phone as well.

Does anybody have any pics from the MCA 10 view camera as I have had a look around the site and could not find any. This is due to I am very intersted to see how good they are, as I have been told mixed comments about it.

Many Thanks

You can't see the pictures on the T-39 before you upload them.
The MCA-10 is pretty much independent from the camera which the MCA-20 is designed to specifically work with the T68 and use its memory.

Here's the lowdown on the MCA-10:
1) I think the 320x240 res is correct.
2) The phone holds 5 pictures before you have to upload them. The pictures are stored in the camera's memory, not in phone memory as in the T68/MCA-20 combo.
3) You can attach a name to any picture before you upload it. This sets the filename that is used when the picture is uploaded/e-mailed.
4) In the upload configuration, you can specify multiple e-mail addresses to e-mail the pictures to. This is in addition to the upload to MobileInternet.com which the cam does by default (and I don't think you can disable). You can then do to MobileInternet.com and view your pictures.
5) The camera is able to either dial-up an ISP or upload the pictures via GPRS. Read the manual for GPRS connect configuration, it's not obvious. The camera has internal ISP phone # information but I believe that there is a way to make the cam use one of the phone's data account entries to dial the ISP. I am assuming this because this is how you configure the cam to use GPRS and I don't see why you can't do it to use dialup also.
6) There is a slight delay between the time that you press the "shutter" button and the time it actually takes the picture. Not exactly sure what the delay time is but I press the button and count to three (3) whenever I take a picture. This eliminates camera shake that is the main cause of blurry pictures.
6) The picture quality is about what you'd expect from a QCIF digital camera.

Hello all,

Many thanks for your messages. I am surprised on what you said about not being able to view anything from the MCA 10 view.

This is due to SE are selling the MCA 10 on there web site as being able to view pictures on listed phones on which T39m was one of them.

Surly this is a break of the Trade description act.
