I've not long bought a NEWlink Class 1 USB Bluetooth Adaptor (100m range)... Bluetooth specification 1.1.
The software that comes with it installs ok, and seems to work ok, as software.
I'm wanting to send images to the phone to start with, but cannot get this to work.
If I right click an image on my computer, and choose the "Send To" option, there is a Bluetooth option, which I select. My phone then gets detected, and I chose it. It starts trying to send the file, and then tells me that it cannot honour the request. It whines that the phone is not up to the job.
I can recieve files from other phones via bluetooth??
I downloaded the Sony Ericsson Image Editor software, which installs ok. But, my phone won't get detected at all by the phone monitor. So obviously, this ain't going to work.
What do I do? I'm going crazy. I'd really like to get this all sorted so I can sync. my Outlook, send images... etc.

It's ok now. There were some COM port conflicts that needed sorting.
