hi guys... I have a couple of questions and I know that some of you out there are proffesional when it comes to thememaking, so I wanted to ask :

1, Where do you get all those cool softkeys images from? the only one I got is the one from Mosedrengens guide on how to make themes.. (the red one)

2: How do you make things like this ( I circled around the things I wonder how you make... etc, like with the dino picture, it look's like it's transparent, and with that matrix layout, where can i get those cool softkeys):

best regards, tim

PS: the themes are by the way Beautiful

Some people just adjust the hue/saturation/light of the one you are talking about to the colour they want. Also we just use Photoshop and make them ourselves.

I dont understand what you mean by number 2

Well it's only the same image used but placed on the right place so it gives a good illusion . For the softkeys, well you make them ... simply as that and for transparency I made a tutorial for this ( although it's for softkeys but you can do it for everything )

I made a small guide to show the dimensions and location of each component, to create the 'illusion of transparency'. It's somewhere ;-) but if you have some patience I'll be able to dig it out tomorrow :-)

Just mess around in photoshop. reduce opacity of some figures and use blending options a lot.

almost forgot.

You may need to zoom in on the image a bit, but in short, to make a theme [i]appear[/b] transparent, you basically cut out all your components of the basic 'fullscreen' image of 128*160 pixels (for t610 and the like) at the correct location, so it will look like your picture continues throughout the theme.

So your statusbar is the top 14 px rows of your fullscreen image.
Your softkeys are the bottom 19px rows of your image.
Your wallpaper and desktop are situated in between the two.
Your title bar is the top 23 px rows of your wallpaper image.
Your menu is the remaining 104px rows of your wallpaper image.
Your popup title is located between 5px and 123px vertically, and 25px and 48px horizontally on your fullscreen image (which is the same as 5px and 123px vertically and 11px and 34px horizontally on your wallpaper image.

Hope this makes some sense
If this is too 'technical' PM me and we'll do it step-by-step one day
