.....and don't tell me it's childish with ringtones, even my 50 year old father changes his ringtones every so often! |

people earn money selling nokia ring tones.. giving SE ring tones away for free is not as interesting..
get a T66 and you can use the nokia ring tones..

But people are giving away background images by the bucket load, FOR FREE........

I don't think there has been the market for Ericsson ringtones like there has for the Nokia phones, they've had the space for extra ringtones for longer haven't they. Too many people have Nokias, more need to get phones then it will change. I like the ringtone sites that let you listen to the tones as a midi, I just go straight the the temporary internet files and convert them using nok2phone and put them on my phone. |

yeah.. it's a nice way theres also tons of midi sites
where you can get almost any melody and as you say
converting midi to imelody is easy with nok2phone application.
I feel I have alot more to choose from regarding backgrounds and melodies now with the T68i then I had with Nokia where there only where alot of paysites to get logos/ringtones.
I seen sites trying to charge for T68 backgrounds too but
it's a silly idea imho since you very easy can save and send the background to your phone for free.
