T68i vs. P800 |

Even though they're practically the same size, do you think it's convenient to lug around a PDA-type mobile phone, or will it be somewhat cumbersome? Also, do you think it's worth waiting for the P800 if I'm just starting to look at phones now, or should I get the T68i? By the way, I just signed up with esato.com, so this is my first post.

you might want to look at the prize as well P800 will cost quite alot more than the T68i... it's said that the P800 will cost around €1000 (~1000USD) |

Wow, I didn't realize that--thanks.
Hey, can anybody please explain to me why the US is the last place to get these new phones? It sucks. |

US is not a priority market... it's more profitable to release a phone in for example Europe than in the US... so if you want it before it's released in US just take a trip to Europe |

Might be due to the fact that GSM is as common as in other parts of the world? And that they sells more Motorla units etc (patriots )
Go for the T68i is my adwise - then whenever P800 appears - change if you like what you sees

Yeah, I definitely agree. I'm going to go with the T68i for now, but here's where the problem evolves: in a few days at my local phone store, they are JUST getting the T68 (not the "i"). I don't know how long it'll be before they get the T68i, but I'm guessing it will be quite a while.
How am I supposed to get the T68i now if my local phone store won't carry it for some time? |

Get T68m then! With the upgraded software, its functions are just like T68i, the only difference is the appearance

Or get it from somewhere other than your local store... |

Or why dont you purchase online? However if its not yet available in your locality it might pose problems later if your phone would need repairs.

Go for the t68i, i think the p800 will be out this autumn, earliest! And you will pay a rather high premium for the pdafunctions, but i guess that depends on what your needs are! |

When P800 comes it will rock, but that might take some while...
