Also try
http://www.freeringz.com
Choose Mid and ignore the phone selector (hint: if the Mid selector doesn't in the box then reload the page)
You can then search for ringtones - the number against each one tells you how many polyphonic channels exist in the mid file.
Click WAP download to get the WAP address or download to your pc and upload using the phone cable if you have one.
It's all free

You're more than welcome
Ringtonez has about 8000 midis at the moment and there are another 10000 to upload when I get the time. If anyone has any more recent midi collections they can email them to suggest@freeringz.com and I'll add them.

Not sure I understand your question.
Polyphonic refers to the playing of multiple midi channels at the same time so the Midis that we have indicate the number of polyphonic channels by the number after the title - so (2) means a 2 channel midi and (6) indicates a 6 ch midi etc. If you see a (1) it means a monophonic mid ie just one channel.
If you enter a number in the 'channel' box you can search for matches with a maximum number of channels - so 4 will find 1,2,3 and 4 ch midis.

Ok, that was probably what happened. Must be that the ones I downloaded are only one channel, hence, my question. Just a misunderstanding. Thank you again :-)
