@kim: Till recently it's been quite hard to beat the French - they're the defending European champions, and were the world cup holders from 1998 - 2002. They couldn't win any wars though!!

I think it would be nice if the underdogs win!!
Maybe that's something to do with being British, we tend to love the underdog for some reason!
