MCA-20 picture quality ON phone |
synch Joined: Mar 01, 2002 Posts: 30 PM |
I've seen several pictures taken by MCA-20. And IMO they are quite good on the computer where it has more colour etc. But I have not seen a picture in the same quality as it is ON the phone. Can anyone post a "on phone picture"? If it's too bad I will reconsider to buy MCA-20. But, maybe I will be suprised too
Thanks |

I would like to see the pics taken with mca-20 ON the phone too, because the quality on pc is very good, but, if I buy the cam is for the photografic album ( itīs rocks!!!), but I never see the pic on the phone, can any with cam post any pics taken with camera for the photo album?

my guess is that if you download a picture taken with the mca-20 from some web page and transfer it to the phone you will be able to see the quality..
don't know if it's the same as actually taking them with the mca-20, but i guess it should be..

The pics on the phone arent so good looking - you sees what the picture are showing but not much more - I havent taken any small MMS sized pics so I really dont know about that size.
When taking photo in dark places the pics will be dark and little fuzzy!
But I still thinks it worth buying!! It rocks!!

On phone they dont look as good as the backgrounds here on esato. But not that bad, i think the picture on the phone look rather good. Once you set up your mailsettings it works like charm! To be able to send pics instantly to friends etc is nice. But its a rather expensive toy so i see your point. Best thing is to try at your local telecomshop and see if you can try it out for real. When I first saw the pics on the screen I was a little disappointed.... but with a little training you can make the quality a little better, by taking the pics in the right light and stuff....
BUT the pics are great on the pc and that's what you'll be using them for and to send to 7650 or P800 the quality should be ok! |

I use the MCA-20 and T68i,..and of course the pictures taken with MCA-20 does not look as good as a T68-backgroundimage.
The reason is of course,..that the T68-backgroundpictures are made e.g. in photoshop with "real" T68 256 colors (palette) and they have been optimized for the phone,..and they are usually gif-images.
You usually start up with a jpg image,..and then convert it to a "T-68 image".
The pictures from the camera are much higher resolution, and they are jpg.images,...and they havent been optimized especially for the T68.
These jpg-images dont have the exact 256 colors of the T68i,..thats why they dont look very good directly on the phone.
But if you take a picture from the MCA-20, and run it through e.g. photoshop or MyPictures,..You'll get the same result as with any other background-picture. You optimize it by giving it the correct 256 colors, adjusting lights/brightness and so on.

well i was thinking of getting one but then someone mentioned it doesnt have a flash. that's not good. most pics i take are in the dark. or at parties where light is limited. what memory does the camera use?? is it an MMC? |

The camera doesnt run on MMC, purely inbulit flash memory...storing max of 20 high res pics and about 80 low res i think. Its not bad in the day...this photo was taken in in the late evening...so its not as bad as you think...but i agreee it would be better with flash on it....

the cam makes good pictures but it is not a digital cam. my problem is i must send each picture per e-mail because i have on my computer none bluet. ore infra-red.
does any1 know how can i use the bluet.adapter?
i have a little bit fears if i buy this part and i can not use this.
i hope you guys knows what i mean.
