My SE Dial Up Networking Wizard will not recognise my phone. I have a COM port enabled which I can happily use for a normal Windows XP connectin (dial up and GPRS) but I want to use the SE software to avoid init string usage.

Basically I want to get 28.8k HSCSD via Orange (dialing to Freeserve), but the T610 rejects certain init strings. Whenever I try to enter a simple CHSN string it sometimes works, apart from the 4,0,0,0 one. However, when entering two strings joined by a ; and a + it won't work.

So, can anyone help please? Much appreciated... Steven.

I think also that there may be a problem in that the T610 doesnt know how to handle multiple strings. Has anybody had success of using strings with Windows XP and a T610 for HSCSD?

Please help...
