Nevermind that hardly anyone has the bandwidth to make proper use of it, but a Swiss company called Roundshot is selling a new 70 megapixel webcam that can capture a full 360 degree panoramic image.

look you could easily mount a rotating let's say a top of the line 3 megapixel camera, or even three rotating cameras if you are paranoid, why in the world do you need a 70 megapixel 360 degree camera?!?!
sorry but i really don't understand it, plus considering the memory used by 70 megapixels you have to either have a MASSIVE storage device or a small one that let's say erases all videos in one hour but what's the point in seeing everything if you don't see anything, lol
i think it's kinda dumb but hey i guess some stores will buy it.... |

yes i think it the thought if you own a company whit "object of value" you put out the cam in the store set it to start record whenever some thing move's the you have i high detailed video of a ..umm maby a thife

I wouldn't risk a webcam like that to avoid thiefs... What if he steals both the webcam and the PC which contains the images... OMG. That would be HUUUGE storing space for the thief!..  |
