What the heck does "No access" mean at the top of my screen in bad reception areas?...coz i cant tct or anything...is it a faulty aerial?, as soon as i mvoe to a better area receptions good and the word Vodafone comes back...but if i put my simcard in another fone in bad receptio it doesnt say no access and i can still receive txts

In some aerias are no reception, the system is not covered full by your operator.

why do other phones with my simcard still get reception then?

It depends on the operator - sim card -, not on the fone.

Of course it depends on what phone you're using. I've found that nokias are better at keeping reception, but because of this, the battery life isnt as great.
Sonyericssons dont have the same strength at finding signal, so the battery life is longer

What phones were you using to test the "no access" problem?

ive got this reaallllyyy vague hunch... but i think it means no access


actually i got this too i somehow got onto AT&T's AND Cingular ( ) cell networks and they both gave me a "no access" (damn!!!)
