i saw some pictures of the new sl65 its great , here is the pics:
features:
- VGA camera with 5x digital zoom
- Video recording H.263 Sub QCIF 7-9 fps

SL models imho are for women only you need to be a piano player to use the keys, i had SL55 and had to send it back!

Looks cool.
Crap phone. Poor screen, i bet the camera isnt even VGA, and it has no flash, which is built into most new camera phones these days.
When will Siemens catch up ??

dont think i'll bother. i had an sl55 last june. kept it for 3 months. really didnt like it. was very slow to load apps etc, always freezing up and the speaker part was awful on playback (couldnt even make out what was said). pics taken with the camera were very good though.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

doubt it will be cheap. i paid £370 for my sl55 from cpw in june (sim free) 03 so it wouldnt suprise me if it will be around the same.

and theres me thinking im being silly buying a K700 sim free for £299 !
A friend of mine has the sl55, its a pretty little phone but i didnt like it, the screen was really poor. When i sent a picture from my T610 to his sl55 it went B&W !

@etaab. The SL55 was bought at the beginning of june 2003 which was about 3 weeks before it general release and was not branded/locked to a network. Thats why it costs so much. I'm on a contract with O2 so I would have to wait for the time to upgrade. My T68i decided to give up so I needed a phone quick and was already near my local cpw. They had just recieved them and sold me a titan version.
Theres no way I'd get another phone any time soon (well, not until November when my next upgrade is due) as I'm happy with my T630 and my 2 week old P900
