Sorry for creating a thread just to ask this, but maybe others are curious too.

I noticed that tranquil is not active since 2004/06/10.
What happened?

Thanks masseur

yes, tranquil is taking a well earned rest in Cyprus with no GPRS available and little internet. Some of you might remember him asking a few things about cyprus.

I have spoken to him a couple of times this week and he's having a ball but looking forward to get back into all this K700 hype, and indeed getting one himself to play with.

he's gone this week and next

I remember tranquil was asking me though Orangescribble if there was GPRS in Cyprus before he left. Didnt mention me when he's coming back though.

speaking of vacations: i suggest a sailing vacation for anyone who has the cash to burn

but if you have no idea what im speaking of when i say windward and leeward, jibing and tacking, etc. you betta take sailing lessons!

not to mention all the diff angles you gotta get and you gotta have some buddies to help you raise the mainsail and jib, its pretty much like driving! [addsig]

@bobafett - I guess @masseur will never go on vacation! I was just really 'laughing' (rarely happens here at esato to be honest!) back there when reading your post in his thread . . . @masseur is 'still' online even when he's 'asleep' - he's connected via GPRS! There are days/nights, I can see him 'sneak' from time to time here at esato, even during the wee hours of the night or early morning . . . Hmmmm, maybe he's watching my 'irrelevant/impertinent' posts which might start a 'flame-war'! But I have said, I only reply when provoked/insulted by any manner! Here are 3 laughing guys for you @bobafett, small 'Q', but really made me laugh!

...I'm frightened by what I see but somehow I know that there's much more to come. Immobilized by my fear and soon to be blinded by tears. I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away...

There is GPRS in Cyprus.. but no GPRS roaming, so he should get a local SIM if he wants to connect

@ephil_24 - YUP! His 'sim card' is tri-band - same as that with the fones, if 4 bands will do, sure hell his the first one to have it! He's like a GPS up there watching our every move down here . . .

@jojo51069
there's no such thing as a "tri-band SIM card". That's a phone feature.
