since I'm in the Western Hemisphere, I think that I'd really like a phone that works on 1G, 2G, and 2.5G systmes until the 2.5/3G coverage is better here

If someone brings out a new phone like the Nokia Communicator I'll get it. Sorry but I cant stand the handhelds with just a touch screen and stylus. I must have a keyboard! Must be all in one as i'm finding my laptop too big to carry round everwhere, and is a nightmayer these days in airports!! Making me turn it on to prove its real!!

Can't say, nothing I've seen that is out already meets the T68's standard.

This topic will be a lot better in a couple of months, when more phones are announced or released.

The Sendo has an SD slot, 64,000 color screen bigger than the T68 and it's running PPC2002 PE it has a 32mb ROM and 16mb of RAM. The only thing that phone needs is Bluetooth I don't know why they wouldn't put that in there. The P800 is nice but no expansion slots ( I don't think ) also the Z100 can run most of the PPC apps with a little adjustment from the developer for the screen size ( Z100 is smaller ).

Hmm.... I would say the SE p800, but im eager to see the Panasonic GD87 or the Samsung S or V -100. As for now the t68i is the coolest and best phone. And i would like to be able to use my MCA-20 and HBH-10 a little longer.
