Some guy is selling a 1981 DeLorean on eBay that’s been tricked out to look exactly like the one used in the Back to the Future movies, complete with the time machine consoles, exterior flashing lights, and the all-important flux capacitor.

But, does it works with plutonium like in the movie?

well you could buy the car and then go back in time and bet on some sporting events or something to get your money back, right? although plutonium may be hard to find these days... |

the auction got to US $12,600.00 but didn't reach the reserve so I guess there are not that many enthusiasts out there that want to spend big bucks for this

Cool!
I've seen one of those Black Trans Ams (I think that's what they were) like KITT out of Knight Rider in a city near where I live a little while back. It even had the red flashing/moving light on the front, the aircraft style steering 'wheel' and KITT interior, and it even made the swishing sounds!! The car didn't speak to me though, and looked like it needed a new head gasket!
Sadly, no camera though, wish I had one on me!!

Apparently GM stopped making the KITT car cos some guy tried to jump a train using one and it worked if I remember correctly. |

Did GM provide a free leather jacket and bad perm with the KITT cars?

I like the music of bttf trilogy. Funny movies, the only problem i have with the story, that if i travel to the future, i cannot meet myself and my children.
