I've spend month reading thousands of posts at this site, and now I'm tired of with it. Although there are some members who are doing a fine job helping people that have difficult and real problems, 2/3 of the posts are obsolete, written by people who haven't bothered to read the manual or people just wanting to complain.
Anybody ever wondered why Nokia is famous for it's usability? Because they lack many functions SEM has taken for granted for years. Then, when former Nokia-owners swtich to Ericsson, they are amazed at the number of never before seen features, and thus, the menu is more complex. Still, many post are just dumb, saying that the phone-book is hard to access, or that accessing new SMS takes time. Both of these services can be eached by simply pressing one button, but nobody seems to care about that.
I, for one, is perfectly satisfied with my T68 - three month and no malfunction, and I use most features. And anoyher thing for you who's phone hangs up occationally - is that really such a big deal? To bad you can't appreiciate a great phone like T68 more than that.
Laffen, jh67 - great work keeping answering all the posts. I don't have your patiens.
The picture-part of this site is great.

@Turtle:
The popularity of the forum and the large amount of postings have made it more difficult to find what you are looking for. Maybe by splitting the forum into more spesific areas could be a solution to your frustration.
We discussed this once in this post:
http://esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=160&forum=2
I have now set up more forums:
Newbee (link to FAQ, and where to find more information)
General (this forum)
GPRS/WAP/Email setup (where you can post the setup to your GRPS provider)
Assesories (headset problems/solutions)
Tips & tricks (secrets, hidden games)
Software (links to official SonyEricsson software and how to install them)
Technical (IrDA, cable connection PC/Palm-Phone)

Turtle > thanks for the nice words. Allthough I should say, that I dont work for Esato
LAFFEN : I think Your idea of splitting the forums up, are a good idea.
I guess it can be hard for a new user, to get an overview of whats going on.

..Did you ever think about people getting bothered to read "lonely" a manual? Isn't it better to visit a Web page and to post your questions, to know there will be somebody on this world having either the same problem or telling you the solution of it? Isn't this a kind of communication between people from all over the world with different cultures?
Instead of wondering with your remark:"Still, many post are just dumb, saying that the phone-book is hard to access, or that accessing new SMS takes time. Both of these services can be eached by simply pressing one button, but nobody seems to care about that."...why dont you just post how to do?
I don't understand how you can write such "bad" words...take e.g a look at this post: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=247&forum=2&66
It was me to post it and I am proud there have been 6100 views so far! I'm sure we could help each other a lot with this post.
For myself... I love this forum and there is no day without esato. Thanks to laffen and and "the everything knowing" jh67

I guess the diffrent between you and the one asking the just dumb quistions is what you wrote "I, for one, is perfectly
satisfied with my T68 - three month and no malfunction"
The others maybe are NEW and having problems with their T68 never the less I preffer the forums then reading a manual plus knowing people reception of the T68.
I think you have to be a little bit more relax and try to help others and if you don't like what they post just agnore it.
I expect you to stick around and help others solving their problems
regards
