Which country is your 6230 made in? |

Hi Peeps,
Just wondering what country your 6230 was made in, had a look at my mates today and it just says "Made By Nokia"....

@Merc_Man - As far as I know, labels which has the inscription of the words: 'Made by Nokia' are models which are made from Korea. Perhaps maybe sometimes from China as well ??? It is a rare occurence for us to see units that are European made - Finland, Germany and Hungary nowadays!

Did you see Eldar's article on the problems with 6230 warranty or is it only in Russian?

@Merc_Man- Here in Manila, it has become a common practice that in order to find out where your Nokia unit was made from, you will entirely be basing it from the cover box! When the box has images on it, say, dancing/partying people etc. the unit is made from Europe. When the box just comes in plain and in simple colors, the unit is made from either China or Korea.

I still fail to see the point in Eldar's article. Just speculating on a hypothetical problem that does not even impair the phone's operation. If you want the warranty of your phone to remain valid, dont open your phone  |
