HELP!
I got the HBM 30 mp3 player about 2 months ago off of ebay. It worked fine untill yesterday when I dropped it and the 128 MS Duo flew out.
Since then i've been unable to format the damn thing, whether it's using the HBM 30 or my 'PC Line' USB card reader.
When I try to use the HBM 30 it say's 'failed'. When I try to use the card reader it says 'windows was unable to complete the format.
Any help most appreciated!

Dont say that!!! I got got my one yesterday!

Had a couple of problems with it, had the battery that came with it in and after a few hours every time i turned it on it said "read mp3" then swiched itself off or it said "wrong ms" so tired to format it with the hbm-30 and got "ms locked" really pissed me off!

But then i had an idea... I replaced the battery with a new one and....
It's been working fine (for now...)

I've searched high and low for that answer. Even SE telephone support/SE centre and Sony without any ideas.
I didn't even drop mine.
Just had an error come up with installing a program on to it.
If you do find out please, please PM me!!!
