yesterday i went to my friend who claimed to have a broadband internet of speeds nearing 200kbps.and i had my mob with me.and synced with his pc and had acess net via gprs.he was really idiotised (excuse me:wink:) with the speed of my mobs gprs

later he found out that his speed was lower than even isdn.he was fooled by his providers

lol, yeah as broadband would be at least 256k if not 512k or 1mb/2mb. My phones gprs connects to my computer at 115k a sec though it seems slower to use than my 56k dial up, though it might be the Bluetooth connection restricting it.

My t230 connects at 56 kb per sec and downloads files with my comp at 7 kb per sec approx.

You can get broadband connections running at 150k and 128k in the uk
