I don't know if any one else has had this but I'm roughly texting about 300 times a month.

All is fine apart from one mobile number. every time I try to reply to one of her texts it always fails.

To get around this I have to start a new text and even that needs about 10 attempts before it goes through.

This has been going on for over a year(with nokia/sharp/se phones so gotta be network).

Any sms experts out there that can help me please?

@lembo - Why not try adjusting (if possible) your fones settings . . . say, the connection or even network settings.

If it wasn't for the mention of it taking about 10 times when sending normally as opposed to replying, I'd have guessed it was something to do with the settings (Reply via same centre, Request reply etc.) making your phone use her SMSC and causing the message to fail.

I guess if it has trouble from just regular sending also it probably rules that out but you could check anyway.

I've had that with a friend of mine in France. she could text me, but all my 2 years on T Mobiles contract, from 4 different phones, have NEVER succeeded in texting here

I suspect it's something to do with cross-network incompatibility.... but not sure what exactly
