good observation, but seeing as people tend to be wasted on beer, wine, and any other alcoholic drinks they can get there "lets-get-pissed-its-new-years"-hands on, nobody stops to think about if there are actually words for that song. [addsig]

Most people do the linked arms thing and sing the chorus, l'm not surprised that most people don't know the words since many of them are Scots terms, a prize goes to anyone who knows what a "We'll drink a richt guid willy waught" means.
