Anyone would recommend a Bluetooth USB dongle for the PC?
I saw a Billionton USB BT Dongle in a computer shop yesterday (and its cheap) around PHP 1900 (USD$ 35)! Any one used this?
edit: please list too, if you have pda's/bt devices in use with it too.

I have the billionton 100m one that I got from a matrix site a while ago was about £15 over the price you seen. It gets stuff from my PC to phone and vice versa easily enough so it does for me. |

i've used 1 no name, and 1 Gigabyte dongle, (both with WIDCOMM software) and 1 MSI (with it's own drivers).
all 10 m range, used them with t610, z1010, t630 and 6600.
all 3 cost about 20euros. The last 1 worked best, concerning sw compatibility with sp2 (it' the only 1 that didn't make problems).

all the dongles are pretty much the same(other than the 10m and 100m rating). You want one with up-to-date Widcomm software, but you can always get it somewhere with a little bit of hacking. |

if you really want cheap bluetooth dongles or infrared devices, try and go to plaza miranda mall in quiapo. it cost around Php800. card readers cost around Php650. msduo 128mb around Php1.8k (magicgate).
