Ok, I use a T610 on Orange.
Have gone to NY, NY, USA.
Phone doesn't work currently. Suggestions?

where did you buy it? have you tried a local simcard? do you have roaming enabled?
does the phone switch on at all?
try and give us a FULL description please if you want a sensible answer

Ok, sorry was in a Cybercafe and ha about 30 seconds before the PC restarted.
It turns on, searches and doesn't find a network.
I've tried selecting a network manually and 2 appear: "AT&T" which has a cross next to it indicating it can't be used, and "T-Mobile" which doesn't have anything next to it.
When either are selected, it shows that no signal is available.
Bought phone at Carphone Warehouse in UK. It's on contract. I can't remember where, but I seem to remember using it abroad before...
Phone's locked to Orange.

Do you actually remember phoning Orange and asking them to activate roaming for you? I was in New York recently and my P900 (on Orange) worked perfectly using both AT&T and T-Mobile.
