Yeah, use an Infrared dongle or a Bluetooth dongle. Or upload your stuff to the internet, then download via WAP.

If you're on Windows XP, go into My Bluetooth Places and pair your phone with your PC. Then you just have to right-click the file you want to send, choose Send To, Bluetooth, then click your phone.

About the simplest way I know and the way I always do it...

OK - hardware first.

Do you have a bluetooth adapter ("dongle") for your computer?

Does your computer have an Infra-Red (IR) adaptor? (possibly built in if it is a laptop)?

Let us know and we can try to help

Just a thought!

Not without spending some money! You need to buy either a bluetooth dongle (best option) or an IR adaptor. With that it is fairly easy. If you just want to get stuff TO your phone, you can upload files to a server and then download them via WAP on the phone.

as mentioned, you will need some form of connectivity, and your options are:

1. serial/usb data cable
2. infrared
3. bluetooth

without any of these the software that came with the phone will not be useful. your only option is to download from a WAP site via GPRS, and is pretty much complicated for what you wanted to achieve.

Sure. Use Sendfile. Its easy, just make sure you have your drivers installed correctly.
