I am just wondering if it is but of 'N O R M A L' condition to all colored celfones to hang, regardless of the brand?
I just recently experienced my Nokia 7650 hang, with still having 470KB of memory left - quite still ideal, out of the total 4 MB capacity. the fone hanged for a about 5 sec., then re-starts.
What gives? Thanks mates!

It'll 'N O R M A L L Y' just be a software bug, and happens with most phones.

@mixin - Thanks for your reply mate! I was just so shocked to see that I will personally be experiencing it myself, considering the numerous 'talkies' I heard since the assumption of Nokia's first colored fone - The 9210 Communicator.

With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

@bart - Yup! I am hearing news about that as well here in Manila, maybe because 85% or majority of celfone users here has Nokia handheld fones!

makes no diffirence. in belgium some magazinses tested all the brands.
nokia is the worst one.
if 100 nokia phones are sold 26 of them return for some problem (soft/hardware) thats alot. brands like SE and samsung are like 1 in 1000

@bart-makes sense mate . . . . .makes sense! My Dad bought a brand new Nokia 3660 last April, and a just after 10 days of use the signal went down/lost, and the f***ng store let us wait for 3 looong weeks to have it repaired, but to no avail. So, we just upgraded it to a Nokia 6230 - of course we added some cash. Here in Manila, you are at 100% risk when buying brand new 'open-line' fones. It has totally no replacement warranty, even for a week, only service. Now, my problem with my Dad's Nokia 6230 is the GPRS configuration, his network - GLOBE, has not yet conifugured the setting of it's GPRS - correctly, since the 6230 and 7200 are the latest Nokia fones here.

propensity to crashing increases exponentially in proportion to software complexity (barring hardware design flaws)

it's not the color LCD's fault! It just happens that color phones are more complex
It's \\ NOT /// !!! Look at it sideways !

@aikonolast - Maybe it's really because of it's complexity . . . .as a colored fone.

Sorry, I do not believe it is normal for a phone to crash.

Do you know that Abelsco ( SE service center in belgium for those who don't know ) repairs also nokia phones because Nokia can't handle it ... It's funny to hear that SE has to repair Nokia phones
