Row of unique LEDs for Wave Messaging
The new innovative Nokia 3220 (which is estimated to cost around £160). It's very much a mix between the two phones Nokia 3200 and 3100.
It features changeable X-Press on Grips, but also features cut-out covers (on the back only). This is the first Nokia that incorporates multi-coloured flashing lights (on the side of the rubber grips), it is also the first phone to feature the new Wave Messaging feature.
By entering text up to 15 characters long you can wave the phone in the air which will make the LED lights flash in sync to spell out your writting in mid-air.
Nokia has decided instead of having a mid-level display/camera, the 3220 will have a 65,536 coloured display and a VGA camera, not a CIF camera. Pictures will come out in much better quality. Very much like the O2 X1 mobile, when pictures are shot the multi-coloured lights flash. It has all the other technical features that the 3200 and 3100 has (such as XHTML, MMS, J2ME etc).
