can you translate "near DSL speed" into kbps?
the theoretical maximum modem speed (which is the kind of service you're offering) is 56kbps - that's using our regular 56k modems. |

Thanks Gowin, was just about to ask that question. We're using dsl at the office. I wanna have access at home too. Unfortunately i can't dial up to our network at night, we turn off all electricity at the factory when we close. What are my options?

bro...actually mabilis kc sya compared sa ibang dsl
downloading speed po pag download kayo ng mga ftp
unlike TRI-ISYS and other isp firm... di po sya na d-disconnect after 3 hours of straight connection...experience lang po yon....
and sa binigay ko pong dial up number...kahit anong oras kayo mag try... kung maka kuha kayo bc line.swerte po...dahil yung iba..yon ang hinahanap..kung may bc line... hehhehhe
kung gusto po nyo patawagin ko sa inyo yung friend ko

compared to what dsl service provider?
as i said, the theoretical maximum that you can get from an analog modem is 56kbs. right now, globe/innove offers personal DSL packages at up to 384kbs.
i just want you to clear up that claim to "near DSL speed" because in my dictionary, 56k is way too far to be considered as broadband. (several years ago, 64k WAS broadband and was only available on ISDN lines).
i'm not saying that this is not legit. but your claim of "near DSL speed" is fantastic, to say the least.
PS.
Maybe you forgot to mention it, but I called up sky and was told that the offer of 999 for two month is a limited offer. On your third month, you pay 999 a month for unlimited access.
