i must disagree...
why would phones take over computers...
just think, what fun would playing max payne, counter strike, or anyother pc game on a 4" screen??
and anyways, at the same time as mobile phones advance pc's do too.
if you were to say that mobiles will take over PDAs i totally agree, in part they allready have done, but not pc's.

I basically disagree aswell...There will always be limitations as to what a mobile will be able to do!

its all about lateral thinking and not thinking the world will remain as it is now
todays reality is not tomorrows nor is ysterdays today. Nor will tomorrow cease in forever eternity for what we do in life echoes in eternity. Basically see it coming. You dont not everyone ddoes its the beauty of the world prooves that their are others in it. Not every ones the same. |

I quite agree with @axxxr's 1st post! But I guess that laptops will go first before the extinction of Desktops. Laptops are far expensive, and it is but very ideal to have Desktops in every home and office rather than laptops. NEC will be releasing the very first mobile fone with tv features on it, as reported, it will be released next year. As long as mobile fones has a large capacity of 'memory', it is not far from expected that it can also play DVD's in the very distant future, or even PS2 games or it's equivalent. I guess after the tv hype on mobile fones, the next move will be for us to get to watch tv programs which are transmitted via satellite, like, CNN BBC and HBO - though of course, will be very expensive when hooked up!
Everything is just possible with all the technology now mates! Who would just ever thought that 'beepers' will go with the extinction of the dinosaurs

mobile phones are a MOBILE solution
