Just got hold of a p900 - sooo impressed. I had to wait an agonising twenty four hours for the phone but spent the time reading this forum. Thanks to you guys I was able to build a couple of themes using Vito, extract six or so ring tones from my favourite tracks using Audacity and set up a handy collection of bookmarks on my browser, all before I got the phone.

The only slight problem I had was setting up an internet connection via bluetooth via my laptop via ADSL. After an hour or so, and again thanks to this site, it was up. (The problems all turned out to be courtesy of Microslop - surprise, surprise.) Worth the trouble though, Internet to the p900 is pretty schmick at 720k.

For years I've had a variety of small clam phones (last was a Samsung v200) and a Palm, waiting for a truly combined PDA and phone. Looks like it's finally arrived.

Anybody who's wondering whether they should get one of these - do it.

So still finding my way round but very impressed so far. I promise I won't pester you veterans for help unless I've exhausted the search on this site.

Thanks guys

ummm - looked at the title after I'd posted and realised it was a bit silly. Just set up mail to my local ISP "Telstra Bigpond" - the water thing must have still been in my head..........

Apologies to those who were hoping to read about SEs new underwater phone.....
