So, I may be an idiot here, but I can't seem to get my T39 to play
nicely with my laptop. Please.... if you can help me....

I'm connecting with a USB Fone Data Suite because my laptop doesn't
have Infrared (its a pretty new sony as well!). The installation of the modem drivers seems to go fine, I set things up - dialing the number *99# or *99***#1 (1 being the CID to orange GPRS on my phone). It connects, gives me an IP address locally via PPP, but I can't see the outside internet.


Rang silly orange pay-as-you-go service, they suggested adding a
AT+CBST=71,0,1 to the modem intialisation and then said that they didn't support Windows2000 (great!).


Any thoughts? Help....

The bog-standard Orange GPRS will give you no joy.
