Hi,
i have a t610 with a serial cable connection connect to my PC. When i used phone monitor software (bundle with my t610) it won't detect the phone. It's work fine when i'm using FMA. Now, i want to set up for internet cnnection using gprs via my t610 as modem. Does anyone can help me to connect my t610 to the internet via PC and serial cable connection?

To properly configure Mobile Phone Monitor, you "enable" the COM port which where you plugged the cable.

However you don't need to install Mobile Phone Monitor to use the phone as a modem. (I don't know if an improperly configured MPM will affect the operation)

You install the "driver" (in fact just the .inf file of any recent SE models) of the GPRS modem. Set up dialup networking, picking the modem you've installed. Then dial the number which would be *99***1# where 1 is the 1st data account set up on your phone, or *99***2# if you want to use the 2nd data account.

I've already install t610 driver modem. When i diagnostic the modem via control panel>>modem, it detects the modem. But when use it to dial *99***5# (my gprs CID is 5),there is an error message "there is no response from the modem".I've already enable my COM port. Did i missing any setting?
