Hey, all.

I have a Palm Tungsten T, PowerMac with OS X with USB bluetooth adapter, Jabra BT200, and a new S-E T68i. All devices are paired except for the T68i. The Palm pairs to the Mac, the Jabra paired to my old Ericsson R520m, but nothing will pair to the new T68i.

Is there a way to troubleshoot the phone as it's trying to pair? I've got it set to be discoverable, and nothing sees it (Palm or Mac). What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!

hi,

try doing it the other way, i.e., phone initiates the connection.

Yes. Either by clicking discover or paired devices.

Nope, the phone doesn't see anything either (when the Mac is set to discoverable). Weird, huh? Is it possible that the T68i has issues with this USB bluetooth adapter?

My adapter is based on the CSR BlueCore2 chipset. Should I attempt to upgrade the firmware?

How about the phone firmware? Is that worth updating? Although, I don't have a data cable, so I'm kinda screwed there. Shouldn't this just work "out of the box"? From everything I've read online about this phone and Macs, it's supposed to be really painless.
