Just purchased a new HBH-20 headset but when opened the box and first charged it fully, I was unable to get it into pairing mode (red and green alternating). It constantly blinks green briefly and doesn't even seem to turn on and off as described in the manual. I can't seem to get it to do a reset (press both buttons at the same time ~10 sec). HELP!? It's new and I can't get it to work. Is there a way to do a hardware reset?

FYI I have the HBH-15 and was able to set it up in seconds, as described in the manual, so I expected the HBH-20 to set up in the same manner (probably the same guts inside).

I'm using HBH-20,...and I believe You're doing everything right,..but it could be a problem within the headset (software-related), I guess.
I would bring it back to the store

It does work pretty much the same as HBH-10 and 15,..I've used all of them

Thanks for your reply, Jan. At least I know I'm doing everything right in terms of setting the handsfree up. I can take it to the store, but unfortunately I bought the HBH-20 while travelling overseas . I can probably mail it to a friend who can try to exchange it at the store, but ideally I can find a way to get it working on my own.

Anyone else out there who knows how do to reset the unit and snap it out of the software freeze?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
