A company called WorldGate has teamed up with Motorola to field test a videophone product, the Ojo (means eye in spanish) Their claiming to get video throughput of 30 frames-per-second over data pipes as thin as 110Kbps. Their aiming to remain compatible with other videophone standards (like, uhm...) so you won't be snared in the stupid, "Buy one for Grandma!" trap that older videophone products tried to spring.
