T68 to T68i Software screen troubles? |

I sent an email to intercity mobile who are licensed service centres for all mobile manufacturers (they have a base in Birmingham) about upgrading my software on my T68. This is my reply.
Intercity are able to upgrade the software to the MMS version in the T68i.
However, this is a one way process and it cannot be reverted back, plus the
only difference will be the LCD on your phone. It might not be able to
receive the full 256 colours.
Does anyone know about this LCD problem?

For me the t68m display software is not equal on t68i.
in my t68i the software is :
LCD SW Version
Test: 200109110
Current: 200109110
try in your t68m
(>*<<*<*)

doubt it... haven't heard of any screen problems after upgrade (I work at a swedish service point). The thing about not beeing able to go back is just that you loose all user settings in the phone, it's possible to update a T68m back to the ordinary T68m software.

My screen looks exactly the same after the upgrade on my "old" T68m.
BTW Cytech ,...you dont loose email-settings,..just found out, hehe.
They are still there after the upgrade,..nice
