I have set up a screen saver to display but it only lasts a few seconds before the F*****g clock comes back !!!!

Am I doing something wrong

If the screen saver was on all the time it would drain the battery fast.

The clock save power as it doesn't use the back light.

The built in screensaver is actually OK by me.
But in addition to the clock it should show icons for missed calls, messages etc.

I've never missed a call on my t68i yet, but if it works the same way as my old ericsson phones did, you can se if you missed any calls or got any new messages by looking at the speed of the blinking of the green light..

Is it possible to change the settings for the power save dispaly to show like signal strength or anything? Maybe change the color of the time display?

Guys - I share the frustration of the 10 second screensaver. It's a big pity that when the T68 upgraded to the i software this wasn't considered.

I guess it's either to save the battery or perhaps keeping a static picture on there reduces the life of the screen? - but this should be our choice.

I don't use animated gifs at all, just seems like a waist of space to me...

Well if you wanna show off your screensaver to your friends, just press and hold the pound button on your phone and it will display your screensaver for a bit so your friends can see your s/s! I hope that helped you!
