In my case the reason is that the current Siemens lineup are lemons IMO and the older models have already been scrutinized down to the smallest dot on the screen

Yes I agree, still have mine, donīt use it much though.
I think it was a step up from the T68i when it was released!

missy: Stop selling your old phones then!
I have, with the exception of my K700i and Z1010 i had to sell to finance Moto V3
Thereīs always a time when you regret selling the old one
Unless of course it was a genuine piece of crapola to start with..

@missuk
I know about your Motorola misfortunes, but hey, how many Motos have you owned? If I were to judge Nokia after my 8310 they wouldnīt be worth a stale pint.
Three days after getting it, it went away for service (constantly rebooting itself in endless cycle) got it back after six days, couldnīt open SMS inbox + when in supermarket it lost signal and didnīt regain until rebooted outside again.. off it went again, got it back after 7 days and after that it didnīt skip a beat for the 1― years i had it

Yep, motorola 'rocks'.. bought three in w row (flare, t920 and the first triband - 'T'anything) first week's edition. Software always was prehistoric. One month later the updated phones came out - but no chance to update mine (so I had funny features like - in sms the number was shown, not the Name, couldnīt connect with addressbook; or couldnīt send sms via addressbook, had to remind every number and enter it manually; or - missing T9; and so on..).
But I left my siemens S35 'cause it couldnīt store more than 12 messages - the usual sim problem.. not very consumer-friendly business politics..

i liked the older 35 series of phones. the best were the m35i and the s35. i loved their wap connectibility and of course their rock solid design. i remember that they rarely hung-up on me especially on heavy messaging duties.
