T610 Camera doesn't work |

Hi guys,
I have a T610 that i've been using without problems for a few months now. But now, for some reason the camera doesn't work. No matter what way I try to access the camera (via the menu, via the camera button, etc.) it doesn't go to the camera. It doesn't do *anything*. I press "camera" at the menu and I stay in the menu. I press the camera button while on the home page and it stays on the home page.
I just noticed that in the picture message menu I don't have the option to compose a new message anymore. It's grayed out.
What the crap.

there's a couple reasons:
1. You're low on memory.
2. Your phone is f**ked.
try deleting some pics, if that doesnt work do a reset, then if that doesnt work do a master reset.
If that doesnt work, you are truly f**ked.
Actualyy youre not, go to an SE service center.

I did a reset that didn't delete the stuff on the SIM. It didn't fix it. I did delete some pics and regain the ability to write picture messages, but when i do that and try to add a camera picture it doesn't work. it just goes back to the message with nothing added.
so i guess my phone is just fscked?

Master reset so your phone is back to factory settings. Dont do anything with the phone then.
Now try the camera. Camera works, phones fine, and its you doing something wrong.
Camera doesnt work, its broken - go get it fixed !
Its always best to leave at least 250kb for the phones operating memory, or somethings wont work.

Did you try to check if your camera works, when you try service tests? |

To go into the service menu hit the joystick right, press the 'star' key, then joystick left twice, hit star, joystick left again, then star again (i.e. >*<<*<*).
Ignore what comes up on the menu, just carry on through to the end of the sequence then in the service menu go down to the service tests menu, there should be an option in there to test the camera.
Good luck!

If the camera doesnt work on service test, you should go to your local Sony ericsson repaircenter or the place you bought, to get it fixed |
