I'm not quite sure I understand exactly what you mean, but I'll try anyway
Phone Monitor:
The Mobile Phone Monitor, a software interface between your Ericsson mobile phone and the XTNDConnect PC program including modem scripts and modem settings.
The Mobile phone monitor "takes care" of the connection between the phone and the pc.
That why you need the mobile phone monitor, if you want to send pictures from the MyPictures program.
The phone and the pc need to be able to "see" each other.
---------------------------------------------
If you have already installed one of the Synchronization-packages (XTND-connect), then the Mobile Phone Monitor will have been in one of those packages allready.
If you dont want to synchronize contacts and so on, you dont need to install one of those XTNDconnect-packages.
---------------------------------------------
When you install Mobile phone monitor on your desktop/laptop, it can be seen in the controlpanel in windows.
You need either cable, bluetooth or IR to make a connection between pc and phone.
An example : I use IR-connection between my laptop and my T-68.
When I turn the IR-connection "ON" in the phone, the phone is immedialty reconized on the laptop.
---------------------
So if you only want to send pictures to the phone, just install mobile phone monitor and MyPictures on your desktop/laptop.
And then you need either cable, bluetooth or IR connection.

Have you downloaded the new version of MyPictures ?
Another thing is,..if you use bluetooth you dont need mypictures to send the picture.
If you made a picture in MyPictures, just export the picture to a folder, or leave it out on windows screen.
You should then be able to rightclick the picture, and "send via bluetooth".
Or when bluetooth connects, the small monitor should appear in bottom right corner of windows,..double-click this and a window should appear, where you can send files from.

I have the last version of mypictures but it seems that it doesn't support bluetooth.
I don't have the option to send via bluetooth
in the "send to" menu and the icon on the right-hand corner only make me see that they're connected(I can't operate with files) |

What Bluetooth card/dongle do you have on your laptop/desktop ?
Are you running XP,ME or ?
If you're using a laptop/notebook, you probably also have an IR-connection.
This can be used too for transferring pictures, melodies, synchronization.
Does this work ?
