Hey, i was thinking of getting the e1000 when it comes out but i haven't had a motorola before. I'm wanting to know things like, what their UI is like, screen quality, do they do themes etc. I'm talking motorola generally as i know this specific phone isn't out yet. I have a t610 at the moment and find the interface very good and have got used to it.
Thanks in advance

Motorola's have one feature that I love. The ability to password different functions like messages. Also you can rearrange the menus. But there harder to use than Nokia.

Best thing is to test it. The V500 has slow text input and wap browsing compared to my nokia 6600. The A835 has some great features like mp3 etc. So motorola are getting better! I even told them that when they visited my work

Was it slower than the t610 cos i find it annoyingly slow sometimes esp when i have a lot of messages stored? Most menus with other phones are harder than nokia thats the only thing i like about nokias.

The V500 has slightly slower. Not much difference. The new model you want may well has faster menu's. Like I said, test it to see what you think

Ive got a V60 & A835. In the two years between the phones Moto have added 65k colour screen, camera, Bluetooth, IR, Polyphonic tones, MMS, video camera/taking, but have maintained the same basic OS just better. But then they arent number one anymore.
