By using an old charger plug (the one that connects with the phone ) with the cable fitted you can, using the appropriate plug at the other end use your phone as a battery for 3volt low power consumption devices like walkmans and the like. Cheers!

Well, the voltage input of your md shows the voltage needed. If its 3 volt then you are ok. If it is 4.5 or 6 volt you cant do it. Also at the back there should be a sticker with voltage ratings. The consuption is shown there and has a mAh at the end. If you divide the mAh of the bat with the mAh of the md you get the result in hours of playback. Example: Battery 770mAh cd player 150mAh. 770/150=5 hours approx

Well when I bought my MD in the states I had a problem with the connectors in europe so I searched and found one with the same voltage but with less mA. It had enough to power up but when I pressed play it consumes too much and stopped. So I don't think it will work but it's worth a try
