Don't know if everyone knows this by now,but Car Phone Warehouse is now doing the MMS upgrade. I took mine there today and i get it back tomorrow.Just hope it will be worth all this waiting!!!!!!:) |

which CPWH was it? The one at Meadowhall, Sheffield says that they can...and i quote ' Only do the upgrade before the shop opens - i.e between 9am-10am'.

Got it back at 10 this morning,quick service or what!!! The upgrade really is the same as the 68i! Has all the MMS stuff.I havn'nt had time to play around with it yet but i was assured that it was exactly the same as the 68i. The Branch of Car Phone Warehouse that did it for me was the "Hedge End" branch in Southampton. Off to buy the communi-cam now!  |

I went over to Carphone service point today and they said they need the phone for 3 days to get it updated. One down in London Oxford Street.
Anyone know another one in London that does it in a couple of hours? |

mines done I've had it for about 4 days its good really good no problems with it and the sms is great I like the new t9 thingy... |

I used the one in Bluewater. They took it off me Tuesday night (engineer wasn't on site) and I had a phone call @ 10.15am the next morning, to come and collect. So not too bad.
I have to say though WELL WORTH THE WAIT!

A mate of mine owns a T68m which now has T68i software on. He went to The Link in Cambridge for them to do the software upgrade and told him that he would get a Nokia 3210 as a replacement phone, so he did the uprage privately! |

I got mine done at A Novo Digicom, Warrington. They seems to know a lot about the upgrade, and kept me constantly updated!
Pitty it failed 3 times  the EMMA server kept getting reset by SE for some reason. Anyone know why this was?
Still only took an hour tho!

Hopefully mine will be done by now, though have to pick it up in morning, CPW said it will take about 2-3 hrs though I was late in getting into town today and they only had 2 hrs of opening time left:(
well I hope to get it tomorrow and start having fun:)

There is a place in Tottenham that did it for me in 15mins. It's near White Hart lane stadium... 813 Northumberland Rd. Very good service too.

Got mine back today from Convergent Telecom Leicester. EmmaII server kept crashing, one 3rd attempt it started to download the software, it took 45 mins of waiting. Well worth it, the new software is 100 times better. If your unsure about getting the upgrade.......DO IT NOW. You wont be disapointed. |
