Lost bluetooth code. |

Just bough a bt dongle and tried to pair my pc with my phone. But it asked for the phones code and i dont know it. Package is at the trash, manual has no info. Help

Clear the PC in question by selecting Connectivity -> Bluetooth -> My devices. Select alias name for the PC and click the c-button to delete.
Then add the PC to the list of devices again. You can decide the new password yourself. |

laffen explained it quite good but I'll explain it simpler, assuming that you know how to get to the "pairing" section...
When it asks for the code, make up a 4-digit number. Enter it both in the pc and your phone... They are paired...
I had the same problem when I bought my bt dongle. I entered in every code I found in the manual and on the box.. It took me a week to figure it out! (I am not that clever... ) |
