YES, it is true that 256MB memory stick for P800 exists! I bought it for only 90 euros from the largest computer merchant in Serbia and Montenegro! I have converted one DivX movie to MP4 format (I used QuckTime Pro) and now I can watch the whole movie on my P800 and I have lots of free space even though I have more then 50 MP3 songs, a movie longer then 100 minuts, over 500 midis… on my memory stick! |

This is superb news!!! Please, pray tell what brand is your Duo. Do you know if more than 1 brand carry this 256mb range? What must we look out for in order not to purchase a wrong one which will not work??? |

It is the same brand as that memory stick that you get when you buy P800. |

It is totally imposible. If you know from computer tech then you should know that for every memory besides the data bus there is also an address bus. Px00 address bar is 24-bits so we have 134.000.000 bytes, meaning almost 128mb. So if we put 256mb memory it wont work because the address bus cant handle 25-bit addresses. And NO! you cant update any device to get larger memory because adress bus is made from several metal lines on the motherboard. Cheers!
