Hey whenever you see a picture of the T39 on any website or other media, the screen shows "WORLD" and also it seems like this is in some menu..... but the confusing part is that the battery indicator as well as the signal strength indicator shows up......

Atleast in my phone, once I enter the menus, the battery and signal strength indicators don't show up...... also what's with the "WORLD" text..... any idea how to get a display like the one shown in the pictures.... it looks pretty cool

Just wondering about this...... pls reply

it's marketing stuff. "WORLD" means tri-band (can be used worldwide).

I think it's just standard, they couldn't put Vodaphone in UK, Proximus in Belgium, Azercell in Azerbaijan.... so they just write WORLD for WORLD PEOPLE

i know that sony ericsson implies that being a triband phone it can be used worldwide.... but is it possible to get such a display on the phone screen (like a menu within which i can see the date time and battery status........)

or is it just a "dummy" image so to speak??
