T68i no longer recognizes cam/handsfree attached to it |

I have a T68i for 4-5 months now, and a few weeks ago it stopped recognizing my *original* handsfree when i attach it.
When i figured my cam also didn't work, I guess the phone is f**cked up.
However has someone else experienced this problem, and is there an easy solution for it? Reset to factory defaults maybe?
If so, is there an easy way to backup the configuration?

Oh, forgot to tell... It's very clean, but i did try to clean the terminals anyway. I even tried disassemble the device to make sure everything inside is intact.
Besides... What could the service do which I cannot? Theres almost nothing replaceable hardware in the device!

well, if the phone is in warranty they can possibly give you a replacement. that's what the service center can do.

I have the same problem with my mca30. Contacts are clean but it seems that the phone cannot recognize the camera. When i connect the same camera on my friends t300 the phone recognize it right away. Dont know what causes this so does anyone knows how to solve this problem?

It might look clean, but take the end of a small paper clip or a knife and scrape away gently at each contact on the phone. You will prolly see an difference right away

Already tried that (of course).
The phone still looks new, and the connectors too. It sounds to me like a software problem.
Anyway, i'm returning the item today (and hopes, they don't find out it has been disassebled)
