I think my Duo is screwed?
My MSD seems to have protected itself somehow.
I noticed this when I tried to save a piture on the stick when it wouldn't let me.
I've tried deleting and unistalling programs/files but it just won't let me.
When I tried to format, a message came up
cannot format (disk is write protected)
Just don't know what to do.
Have searched the forum with no luck.
Any ideas lads?

Not really sure about this - but do the cards have a write protect switch on them? COuld this have been moved perhaps?
Just a thought!

Try reformatting it.
Can you save files to it using a card reader/writer?

That's what I thought. Using my 32mb at the mo. I did leave it near a small speaker last night. But why does it still work through a reader? Does it need a certain format that can't be done at home??
