If T-mobile accepts gprs roaming then there is no problems, never had a problem while I was there

Vodafone only supports roaming for other vodafone networks or for one foreign provider (if there is no local vodafone). This means I always switch of auto-selection of provider and select the one where I get gprs (it has a little antenna icon next to it). Don't know if it's the same with T-mobile.

If you are on T-Mobile UK, have GPRS activated when you are in France manually select either
"BOUYGTEL" or "F-FT"/"Itineris" or "F SFR"
Further details at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/gprsroaming
I'm impressed with the statement "The charges are the same as for using t-zones in the UK*, 0.75p per Kb of information downloaded and 35p per picture message sent (free to receive). You can use any GPRS or Picture Messaging (MMS) allowances you have while abroad too."
However on a T-Zones page it says this was a promotional offer til 30 September 2003 so you may want to double check with a customer services reprasenative. |
