Hi there,
I have a friend which just bought a new P900 and he would like to share files/photos with me while using any of the instant messeging programs or irc. Funny enough my old 7650 can accomplish this feat and I am sure the mighty P900 can do it too. So, which program should he use ?

No answer is also a answer .Just what I thought .Hopefully ,at least by now, you new smart-phone users understand. 'Usefullnes' does'nt equate to 'very expensive'

Why do you want to send it using instant messaging apps is your son far away from you? If not then use the bluetooth to send it to the 7650. or else you can send it by infra red port I am sure the 7650 has this as well or if he is away from you, you can always send it as an MMS to him or by EMail. Or else you can use your P900 to upload the file to a wap server (there are lots of free ones around )and your son can downlaod it from there.

On a P900 you are spoilt for choices Hope this helps

Stop messing around and tell him about,

jMSN Pro, which can be found at http://jmsn.edibay.com/pro/
It is capable of transferring files and it works great. The best IM for Symbian UIQ and the P900. Promise!

yes that's true, but if i remember correctly it doesn't have support for bluetooth headsets, which is a great disadvantage in my opinion.....
