OK on T68i, but not with Outlook 2000!?!? |

Hi all!
I can successfully send & receive emails from my mobile phone. I put the same settings in Outlook 2000, and I'm able to read emails. But I can only send an email to adresses that are of the same type as mine ( xyz@freesurf.ch)!!!
For the others the error message reads: "relaying denied, etc......"
Does anybody have a hint? Thanks guys! |

You are not logged on to your ISP (freesurf.ch) but to your mobile operator. So you are treated like any user outside your ISP. They do not allow sending mail if you are not a 'own' user, this is to prevent spammers. Wat you need is an SMTP-Server wich allows relaying (wich means tey did not configure there server correctly) or an account from your mobile Provider.
